There's a trend that has made its way from Paris to the red, white and blue in see-through fashion: the sheer skirt. Vuitton confirmed the skirt's wearable reputation by debuting the look on their runway. Aymeline Valade opened Marc Jacobs’ latest show with a transparent top, patent leather corset belt, and, you guessed it- a sheer skirt. Similar skirts were one of the main attractions at the Givenchy collection- even Stella McCartney, gave the look face time in her Fall show.
While Gucci and Vuitton barely-there skirts may not find its way into your closet this season, here are a few of my favorite looks from the flirty trend if you wan to ease your way in:
